Fourth Air Canada Cafe Opens At YVR - Vancouver
Air Canada opens a new café at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) that operates as a grab-and-go stop for busy travelers. Located in the domestic terminal, their menu offers light snacks and sandwiches, juices, tea & coffee, which is slightly different from their full-service Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges. Designed to seat 52 customers, this café is well equipped with essentials like WiFi, work desks, dedicated luggage storage, relaxing chairs with power outlet and USB-C ports that are ideal for a quick nap or recharging your electronic devices before the flight.

The Details
This 2142 square-foot that opened on November the 5th, 2025, consists of a mix blend of standing and seating area spotted with long rectangular and circular tables throughout the space. Our favorite area is the section across from the main F&B area; a long row of high-top seats that overlook the apron that is great to watch smaller turboprop planes close by, as well as larger planes taxiing to the runway.
“This new space is all about offering guests a thoughtful blend of modern amenities and cozy vibes, while celebrating the beauty and spirit of Vancouver,” said Jacqueline Harkness, managing director of product and services at Air Canada.
The interiors are created in collaboration with Vancouver’s Smart Design. You will find aviation and nature-inspired details all around the café. The ceiling is a fuselage-style and the light fixtures inspired by river rocks.
In addition to Asian-inspired meals including Vietnamese nems (spring rolls), a Korean crispy chicken burger, and matcha and white chocolate overnight oats, the café’s menu include popular Vancouver items like Nanaimo bars and Lee’s Doughnuts. There is also tap Nitro cold brew and Persephone Brewing’s local artisan beer and seltzer. Takeout bags and utensils are close by at the spacious Grab and Go station, which offers hot, cold, and room temperature food selections.

The lounge has eGates where you can enter hands-free by using biometrics or scanning your boarding card. Employees are available to help with guesting rights and any questions you may have regarding your flight. The following people are eligible to enter the Air Canada Café Vancouver:
